1940's Elecrtromuse Lap Steel in Roanoke VA area for $150

This seller is not exaggerating when he says this may be one of the earliest electric guitar models. The Electromuse company is often noted as being part of the birth of the electric guitar.

1974 Gibson J-40 Acoustic at GC in Webster TX for $599

Spotted this Gibson J-40 Acoustic at the Guitar Center in Webster TX for only $599.    Collectors don't love the 1970's CMI/Norlin era Gibson's but that doesn't mean this can't be a terrific guitar for somebody out there - especially if it's been well cared for over the past 40 years.  Worth taking a look for sure.

I stumbled across this posting on the Gear Pag and thought it might interest my readers.  I don't know this guitar player but he has work available on iTunes and Amazon and he has access to some incredibly rare and cool guitars - include one that belonged to Duane Eddy!

This link will take you to the original page with lots of pics and links to recordings etc.
