1957 Gibson ES125TD - Dual P90's w Original Case in Phoenix AZ area for $1550

This seller is offering a beautiful all original (hopefully) 1957 Gibson ES-125TD.  These were sort of budget level guitars at the time and 1957 was the first year for the 2-pickup version of this guitar so it is fairly rare. Gibson records indicate that only 151 of this model were shipped in 1957.

All in all that makes this a pretty darn good opportunity to own a Vintage guitar from the "Golden Age" of American electrics.   The "Florentine cutaway version of this guitar (ES-125TC) is more popular with players and collectors alike so it commands a higher price -  but it is actually less rare than this model.

Vintage 1960's Yamaha SG2C "Flying Samurai" Electric Surf Guitar in Central CA for $400

These late 1960's YAMAHA "Flying Samurai" solid body Electrics are as rare as Hens Teeth on this side of the Pacific.   With the Teisco May Queens going for $1K+ these are certainly a higher quality (i.e. more musical playability)  instrument from around the same period.  You'd certainly be the only kid on the block to bring one of these to the Surf Guitar show.  - JC
