1967 Silvertone 1480 Silhouette in Seattle area for $300

I don't know if these colored pickups from Harmony/DeArmond sound as good as the Goldtones - maybe someone can fill us in. these versions always seem to sell for a litle less than the earlier models - maybe just because they are later and less vintage. If anyone has one of these later Silvertones please give us a review.

This guitar was made on June 1st 1967 by Harmony for Silvertone. I believe it to be a 1480, as it has the red pickups, but it is very simmilar to the 1478. Overall it is in good condition for its age. There are a few nicks in the finish, a small crack in the headstock (does not affect playability or structure), and the truss rod cover is cracked. Other than that is in great functioning condition. Everything works, including tremolo and arm. It appears to be all original, I would be very suprised if it wasn't. Overall a great uniquie vintage guitar. $300. Call Jacob (425) 577-4502. Email for more pictures.

Location: Renton- Fairwood
