This may be a real Framus Texan or it could be a very good Japanese copy - it has the proper tailpiece and headstock design but I don't see the Swedish maker's name on it. The Electric is a mid 60's 3 pickup semi or 335 type full hollow made in Japan - it has a great looking Bridge with adjustable saddles and a mute.
If she is selling both of these guitars with cases for $80 that is a heck of a deal.

I have two guitars for sale, one an acoustic and one an electric guitar from the 1960s. I am the original owner of both. They are very sentimental to me but it is time to let them go. Please email or call me if you want a picture of either or both. Contact Joyce at 303-859-1961.

Framus is a German brand.....not Swedish;-)
ReplyDeleteOf course you are correct. My bad. - JC
ReplyDeleteFYI: The seller decided to reconsider selling these guitars. They are keeping the electric and have repriced the acoustic at $180.
ReplyDeleteAlas... that's part of the danger of our quest. Sometimes it is too good to be true. - JC
