This Teisco is not in perfect condition but it sounds like the seller knows something about guitars so hopefully the changes help with the playability. These K-3L's are probably one of the most decent guitar models to come out of the Teisco factory. I've seen a few alt-indie-retro bands use them onstage and they definitely hold up to live playing. mid to late '60s Teisco K3-L
this is a very comfy playing example, great neck! It stays in tune nicely and is currently set-up for 11-52 flatwounds. It's all mahogany (body + neck) and light weight.
No case or trem arm :( it's kinda beat-up and someone used some sort of crappy black house paint to cover up the dings. I actually removed a bunch of it.
Two of the pots were dead and the otehr two were corroded. I put in two new 500k pots and wired it up like a Fender Jaguar... well, more like a Bass VI since there's 3 pickups. I also replaced the gears in each of the 5 original tuners and they actually work now :) I also added a similar replacement for the one missing.
$220 Firm - CASH Only
