Silvertone 1482 Combo Amp in Minneapolis for $300

The Silvertone 1482 is one of the best vintage small studio-practice amps you can buy. Period. It is better than a Fender Vibro-Champ because it is louder and has a wider range of available tones including nice and gritty - which the Champ will not do without a pedal. These are great amps.

Silvertone 1482 vintage tube amp. It is probably from the mid 60's and has great vintage tone. The amp is in good shape for it's age with a 3 prong plug and upgraded speaker wiring. It looks to be a replacement speaker but from the same vintage. I do not know what it is but it sound great and like the other 1482's I have heard. Volume and tremelo on this little monster and both work great.

If you want a nice compact and hand-wired amp for a fraction of the boutique amp prices, this is the one for you.

Come grab it before it hits ebay.

  1. Been looking for one of these for awhile. Just found a clean one and snatched it up on Ebay: http://r.ebay.com/pYWgZT

I enjoy your site and really dig the old Silvertones, Kays and Harmony pieces you find.
