This Harliday Silhouette has been stripped down to the wood and still looks pretty darn nice. This should help rest all the accusations that these vintage USA electrics were made with "plywood" bodies. Looks like either Alder or Ash to me.
These are fun little players - just ask Sufjan Stevens.

60's guitar I believe to have been sold under the logo "Holiday" but I can't be 100% certain.
Regardless, it is a Harmony product that was generally called a Silhouette.
The pick-ups alone on this guitar are worth the price of admission. DeArmond "Mustache" p/u's. They scream.
Body has an interesting and not unattractive "Mary Kaye" sort of vibe as that's what was under the 45 coats of after-market goo I removed.
Pics show missing one knob and the selector switch-tip. Guitar now has all control knobs - switch-tip still gone.
Otherwise all hardware is present and in very good condition.
No case.
