Everybody is on the hunt for these amps theese days and here is one available right in NYC for only $350.
BTW, in addition to the standard horde of guitar fiends who like these amps they also sound very cool when you run a vintage combo organ through them. A big part of the sound of those old Vox and Farfisa organs was the tube amps they used.

The 1485 was the most powerful tube-powered amp that Sears ever made available. At just a shade under 240 bucks, it was also the most expensive. For your money, you got everything that the Danelectro engineering department could bring you: reverb, tremolo, combo footswitch, ground switch, standby mode, spare 110v outlet, 10 tubes, 5 rectifiers... the only thing missing was an '11' on the volume dial. This amp was the MAX.
Jack White has given these amps popular exposure the past few years.
Works Great.
vibrato only works on second channel. has normal wear for a vintage amp. sounds amazing.
if this posting is still up, the amp is still available
One thing that I remember about this amp (the guitar player in my second band had one) is that they blew output tubes like mad if you actually had them up to '11'. He was down about 50% of the time because the amp was being repaired. Good amps, but the design was a bit out on the ragged edge of what the tubes could actually handle.
