A thrift store in the Portland area is selling a nice 1950's Harmony Model 200 for only $275. These amps have what I consider to be one of the best tube circuits because they use the 6SN7 and 6SL7 full sized Octal preamp tubes that sound better than any 12AX7 in existence. The pair of 6V6 power tubes and 5y3 rectifier are all you need for perfect vintage tone.
If you are curious about the schematic here is a look at it - Harmony Model 200 tube amp schematic
This is a classic recording amp - and they are great for harp as well.

Vintage Harmony Model 200 Amp - 1950's
It supplies that beautiful, vintage, bluesy, punchy tone for days! Forget it! Tone heaven folks. This is certainly not a gig volume amp unless you are playing very small coffeehouses, but it's certainly an excellent recording amp. It is a darker sounding amp.
