Kay Del Oro Pre-WWII Faux Resonator in Ashmore Il for $150

This seller is offering one of the faux resonator guitars made by Kay in the 1930's and sold under the Del Oro name.   These guitars don't have a real spun resonator - just the top plate - so they just sort of sound like banjo guitars - but they are well documented and I would imagine they still sound pretty cool.

Now, this one one has a helluva crack!   It is straight down the middle of the back though so you could always just glue it and cover it with one of the herringbone-type strips they used to put on some of these old parlor size guitars to conceal the join anyway. It's an interesting guitar for sure - that needs some fixin.'
