Univox Coily 1960's Japanese 335 copy in Central New Jersey for $200

The Univox Coily is an interesting and fun MIJ 335-style semi-hollow out of the Matsumoku factory similar to the Aria, Ventura and Bruno models of the same period.  Pickups vary on these but this one has the "staple" humbuckers originally created to mimic the Hofner pickups on Japanese copies of their guitars.

This particular guitar needs a pickup selector switch.  Not a major repair but not completely simple either.

Note:  These Univox's have very thin necks so if you have small hands you may like it.

Vintage Univox Coily Semi-Hollow Body Guitar - $200 (Flemington)

Date: 2012-08-21, 11:51AM EDT

This is a vintage Sunburst univox coily guitar. It is a semi hollow body with a great warm sound. It works as is but needs a new pair of strings and a new electronics knob. Still works without the knob. Could use for parts or as a great vintage guitar. Your choice.
