Here is a nice find - a 1950's or early 1960's Harmony Stratone that was sold through the Alden Department stores. The devilish headstock logo on these is often misrepresented as being an "Airline" but it was the logo used by "Alden" stores. These flat "Hershey bar" pickups are one of my favorite vintage pickups ever. This should be a great bare bones vintage guitar. Don't expect the necks on these old Chicgo made electrics to be smooth or fast playing - and the frets are tiny - but that is all part of the charm. - JC
