Lectrolab S-400 in Seattle for $200

Hey Lookie here!! Another Lectrolab S-400...and I thought I had the only one. Very rare little amp - Single El84 output tube and tremolo circuit - gives a neat Vox AC10 type tone - I play mine at full volume and it is a nice recording amp - sounds different than any of my Fender amps - nothing like a Champ really. Records well.

Note: Mine has a pair of Alnico 8 inch speakers and htis one looks like it has a ceramic pair - so this one might be a bit louder than mine.

This original tube amp is old but looks great for its age it works good (but needs to be updated). it haze two 8" speakers it is a great amp to practice. I have no idea what the watts output is I would guss about 10-15 watts. I play bass so i dont need it to play. It was a fun to have some thing so rare. This is a 1950's Supro Lap Steel guitar in good working order, with the highly desirable Supro/National pickup. The patch cord is nearly new, having been replaced by the previous owner. It has a few paint chips and the tuning buttons are shriveled (very typical for lap steels of this age) but they still work. Pemier Tube amp in Boise ID - just sold for $50

Yeah - this one went so fast I couldn't even post it before it sold - but check out this litlle sweetie - Premier Chicago made amp. This is either a Model 110 or a Model 120 - depending on if it has a 10 inch or 12 inch speaker. Premiers used a variety of circuit designs - sometimes with a single 6L6 and sometimes with a pair of 6V6 power tubes. No matter what the tube layout it is usually a harp players dream combo amp. Premier amps are just voiced beautifully for the blues harp.

I'm looking to sell a vintage guitar I've had around for a while. A family member purchased it in the 70's and it's been in the family ever since. Though the paint has taken a few scratches and nicks, the body itself is in excellent condition (although a bit dusty). It hasn't been played in quite some time and could probably use a string replacement.

With a few paint touch-ups it would be good as new. It's a perfect guitar for a learner.

Magnatone 280 in New Hampshire for $695

The Model 280 is basically the Holy Grail of Magnatone's because it was the amp Buddy Holly used on Peggy Sue and several other hits. In fact George Gruhn is selling the 1958 Magnatone 280 that belonged to Buddy Holly for $175K... yes, that is correct, I said $175,000.

Peavey Mace 160 watt 2x12 amp in San Antonio TX for $200

Everybody knows when you say "Peavey Mace" it automatically recalls Lynyrd Skynard. These were that bands signature amp - and they are insanely-freakin' LOUD!! No master Volume on these hybrid amps with the Six 6L6 power tubes. Don't even think about using this in an apartment - they put out about 105db with the volume at 1.

But if you want a nice loud rugged stage amp - well... here you go.

I have an original Peavey Mace 2X12 160 watt guitar amp. This is a mid 70's mace and is not the VTX version. This one has tremolo and reverb. It is fully working and sounds fantastic. If you've ever wanted to pretend like your bedroom was a NASA blastpad, this amp will help you do that with 6 6L6GC power tubes producing 160 watts. Amp looks pretty good too. 200 bucks and you can take it home and play Sweet Home Alabama until your ears fall off.

I am looking to trade it for a smaller tube amp. I would trade for a Peavey Classic 30, 50, 100, Delta Blues, Fender HRD, almost any vintage amp or any other tube amp that tickles my fancy. I would also consider taking cash for it, but really could use a smaller tube amp. I acutally prefer heads to combos, but whatever, let me know what you have.
One other thing. I am not afraid to trade for an amp that is not working as long as it is an amp that would be worth the trouble to have fixed.

1983 Gibson Flying V in Oxnard CA for $600

Here is a nice looking Flying V - 26 years old and it's a rather unusual Cream color. I think this is the "Flying V 83" model because it has no pickguard and the straight tailpiece instead of the Brass V shaped type. these were lower end models but still nicely made by Gibson in the USA. I'm selling a 1983 Gibson Flying V. 2 humbucker pickups, 3 Way switch, 2 Volume knobs and a tone knob, dot inlays, awesome looking guitar. Also included is the guitar case which is pretty nice itself. Hard black case with white fur interior keeps the guitar clean and safe.

Body has some minor damage/ cracks in the paint but nothing bad. Some fret buzz on the E string, might need a fret filed down. Case has a combination lock on the side that hasn't worked since I got it but it still latches.

Looking up this model online gave the value at 700-950 depending on the condition but I'm just trying to get rid of it and it has the fret buzz so I figured 600 or best offer. It's a really cool guitar, still works great and sounds great. A good purchase for any guitar lover.

It has a 9.25 radius neck with a Seymour Duncan 5-2 in the neck position and a Custom Shop Fender Nocaster in the bridge. Wilkenson bridge, Kluson Tuners, Crl Switch, Cts Pots. Some wear but very little. The Pictures included are this actual guitar. Included is a new Fender Hardshell case.
This guitar is built to last and plays great.

1979 Gibson The Paul in Austin for $650

These area really nice Gibson guitars. I've played several (including a brand new 1979 back when I was in High School) and they are consistently good guitars.

It is not all original, has Dimarzio SD pickups and Grover tuners, but that is what everyone did with these guitars back in the day.

Love the guitar but I'm just not into Gibson scale length these days. Has two vintage Super Distortions in it with coil taps for each and a phase switch, the tuners were replaced with Grovers before I got the guitar, and it comes with the original hard case. Plays like a dream, still the fastest neck I've ever played.

Can't decide between an SG and a Les Paul? Buy this.

Alamo Electra 15 watt sx10 tube amp in Bakersfield CA for $325

The seller says he will ship this amp (for $75) so you may be able to negotiate with him. I haven't ever heard one of these Alamo Electra's but it is a Dual 6V6 and it has tremolo so it should be similar to a Silvertone 1482 or Airline 62-9013. that said the Alamo's are known to be very hit-or-miss. This could be a good one...

Squier Tele Custom in Sherman Oaks for $125

I have played these Squier Tele Customs side by side with the Fender 72 Deluxe RI and strange as it sounds... I like the Squier betetr. They are lighter, don't have a contour cutaway onthe back and the pickups have more bite and clarity for modern playing styles. The Fender 72 Deluxe RI has the Fender "Fullrange" humbucker based on an old Seth Lover design but the versions I've heard are too full range for modern guitar styles - they end up sounding dull and farty (to my ears). Of course a real 70's Tele Deluxe is a different animal but for $125 this little Squier is a nice playing axe. Note: There is another version of this guitar for sale called a Custom II which has a pair of P90's - this one has the chrome humbuckers.

Ventura Bruno 12 String w Case in LA area for $60

Nice loooking 12 string for only $60 with a case - that's a heck of a deal. North Hills is in the San Fernado Valley outside LA. This guitar appears to be in good shape with no sign of soundboard buckiling or Bridge lift that is common with 30+ year old Japanese made 12 strings.

Ventura Bruno Model V15, 12 string acoustic guitar with cedar neck, been repair but plays perfectly. Comes with case! From mid to late 70's. Sounds beautiful! This guitar is praised by many people for the sound. It is claimed that these guitars sound better than the expensive ones. A must hear! Strings are very old it can probably use new strings. Body is beautiful.

Almuco Tube combo amp in Boston Area for $150

I've been scoping ams for years and I have NEVER seen one of these. Check out that circuit - cripes - it's about five resisters clipped to three tubes - amazing. And this was "Made in the USA" (check the front right side of the chassis).

I don't know if it is worht $150.. but it sure is funky.

i have had this old amp for years and i still have not bothered to do anything with it.

as far as i can tell, it still works but needs a new power tube.

the right most tube does not glow, but the other 2 do.

i know nothing more about it than that.

i found an old tube that was the right size, plugged it into the amp and it works!! the volume pot is dirty, but the amp works well, and the speaker is in fine shape.
