The guy who bought the last one of these I listed sent a comment and said he absolutely loved it. This one is even cheaper. hehe. I don't know why the seller is calling it a 5-string unless he's got it set up ala Keith Richards (which is very possible tuned in D). Note that the difference between the Kay and Truetone versions of these guitars is the 6-on a side headstock (most Truetones) and the chrome bridge cover (also on the Truetone) - JC

ReplyDeleteMy brother gave me a Silvertone 1413 he had in his closet for about 20 years. A little banged up (he said it was mint when it went into the closet). Turquoise (surf craze, you know) and different headstock but otherwise nearly the same as this Truetone. Needs a fret job but sounds really fierce.
