I don't know exactly which Les Paul Jr. model this is but somebody is offering a good deal on a USA Gibson. Guitar Center offered a special edition LP Jr. with a Humbucker for $599 a little while ago but that guitar had a satin finish and plastic tuner buttons. It also had a coil tap for the humbucker. But i don't think it was available in a Red Sunburst like this one.
This model seems to have a gloss finish and it has chrome tuners and what appear from the photo to be speed knobs. Whatever it is it would be worth checking out.
Warning: I can' help but notice that the back of that neck seems to be unpainted which allows for one other possibility - this could be a cheap Epiphone Jr. Body with a Gibson Sonex neck bolted onto it. Caveat Emptor!

Selling my Gibson (not epiphone) guitar ...serious inquiries can be made via email or text/call five zero two ************.
Wouldn't a real Gibson Les Paul, Jr have a set neck? That one looks like a bolt-on.
ReplyDeleteI can't see well enough to be sure but it looks like a bolt on neck. You're probably right about the Epiphone body.
ReplyDeleteThree screw truss rod cover...black plastic nut...cheapo Epi tuners. Epi or worse.
ReplyDeleteIt's a Maestro. A very cheaply made import marketed for a while as learner instruments for kids. Should list for $75!
