I am highlighting this posting because these Val-Dez models are fairly uncommon and there is not much info on the web. Val-Dez was a label of Espana Guitars (a distrib out of NYC). These were made by a company called Landola in Finland who also made the Espana Classical guitars in the late 60's and early 1970's. Don't confuse these with Levin Guitars that were made in Sweden - they are not as well-constructed as a Levin - but some are more than decent and they are likely on par with many of the Japanese and Italian acoustics of the same era.
This model appears to be a copy of a Martin D-18. It seems most of the Val Dez models you will see are either OO (ie. Concert) sized or Classical guitars.
