1951 Danelectro Leader tube amp in Chicago for $300

This seller is offering a Danelectro Leader at a fair price - and these amps are very hard to come by. If you want a seriously vintage tone in a nice useful package you should check this one out. - JC ******************************************* Vintage Danelectro Leader 1x12 combo amp - $300 (Chicago, IL ) Very nice condition for a 50 year old amp! 1951 Danelectro Leader 1x12 combo amp. Has 3 imputs and a Volume and Tone. 12" speaker is in good shape and sounds great. Best I can describe is this amp has a warm, reedy, woody tone. It is pretty clean up to about 1/2 then starts to get a bit of warm grind. Maxed out it is not heavily distorted, just producing a sweet, warm & gritty overdrive. Sounds god-like with a nice germainium fuzz-face, and it's a fantastic recording amp. Again, this one's in great shape, has some minor wear and tear but no holes in the grill or major damage.
