Harmony or Silvertone Archtop in Napa CA for $75

From the shape of the headstock this looks like a Silvertone made by Harmony. Who knows what it needs - the tuners look like Gibson green Keystone type Klusons (from this distance).  Worth checking out for $75.

Fender Japan Squier 70's Strat in Kansas City MO for $200

This is a nice deal on a MIJ Fender Squier 70's reissue - made sometime in the 1980's  Check out the original details like the bullet trussrod, large headstock and the 3 bolt neckplate.   And the plus side is I doubt this one weighs 9+ lbs like my original 70's Strat.  He says there is a loosee wire issue with the one pickup but is wiling to throw in a loaded GFS pickguard with the deal (??)  Definitely worth it if you like these guitars.

This is an SQ series (large headstock) Squier Stratocaster Manufactured in Japan in the 80's. If you want a vintage strat inexpensively, this could be your ticket. It needs a new set of strings and a minor setup, and the bridge pickup cuts out occasionally. I will include a loaded guitar fetish HSS pickguard or you can repair it if you like. I think it needs a new switch. It's priced accordingly. If you reply, mention the guitar so I know it's not spam. $200 OBO.

1966 Epiphone Century in Columbia MO for $750

Just look at this absolutely gorgeous 1966 Epiphone Century, model 4225T.  This is probably one of the last Kalamazoo made Epiphones and it is stunning. Very similar to a Gibson ES-125T - nice thin hollow body with a P-90.  And you can add an ABR-1 style tuneamatic bridge if you are nervous about live intonation.

Kalamazoo vintage Mandolin in Mesquite TX for $50

I am far from an expert on mandolins (heck I ain't even an expert on geetars) but this has got to be a good deal.  I've seen those old Type A Gibson Mando's going for more than $1K and it's likely this Kalamazoo was made in the same factory around the same time. Either way you gotta admit it is cool as all get out.

This is a vintage Kalamazoo Oriole Mandolin. I found it in my grandparents house when they moved out. Just restrung it. It's used and needs some love but plays well. Price Negotiable. Comes with case shown. The bracing inside is loose and the back is coming off a bit. Great for someone who wants a project or wants to learn. I will not ship.

Fender 1982 Bullet MIJ electric in SFV for $275

This should be a real Fender Bullet (not a Bullet Strat - note that it has the Tele style headstock) ). These were designed and marketed by John Page to replace the Mustang and Duosonic guitars as student level electrics - they were made in both the USA and in Japan.  Since this is a 1982 model it is likely that the parts are USA and it was assembled in Japan since this was during the transition between Fullerton and the Corona plant.   The only thing confusing me is that this seems to have a regular Fender Virato bridge/tailpiece which, as far as I was aware, the S-3 (3 pickup) Bullets did not have.  But perhaps the MIJ version did.

Marshall JTM30 Tube combo inTucson for $300

Nice portable Marshall tube combo amp for a decent price inTucson AZ. 

Take Note:  The JTM30 is known for getting quite HOT and they can blow their output trannie if you are not careful so be sure to add a simple FAN to cool the tubes and you will be in good shape.  These amps are also known for there terrific punchy growl and nasty (in a good way) screaming lead tone.

Alamo Jet tube combo amp in Wichita KS for $150

This might already be sold since it was listed on 2-21/10 but I wanted to post it here to archive the photos since these rarely turn up on CL.  The Jet is a 6 watt amp (not 55 watts) with a single 6V6GT
 and a 12AX7 in the preamp - it also has tube tremolo, a tube rectifier and a 12 inch speaker.   Luckily the speaker is an efficient alnico so it should get decent volume out of that lil 6V6GT.   You don't see too many of these - the hybrid Alamo's are more common - since these were regional amps made in Texas and were fairly cheaply made and many just didn't last.   Uncommon and collectible little amp.

Up for sale is a "Vintage" Alamo Jet 55 Watt Amp in good conditon. It works fine. Great tube amp sound for a small price. Has tremelo that works. Has rip in front cloth, missing tremelo intensity knob, has a few rips in tolex. A little dirty. But, again, Great TUBE AMP sound for very little money! Great little bedroom amp! See pictures.
