Superior by Noble 50+ year old parlor guitar in Oklahoma City, OK for $45

This looks to be a very old American Made "Superior" by Noble acoustic.  Similar to a post-war Kay or Harmony student model and it includes an original chipboard case.  That looks to me like an old Chicago tailpiece ala Valco/Supro.

1962 Fender Jaguar - Custom Black - mostly original in Chatanooga TN for $1500

Regular readers of this blog know that I rarelyevery highlight Fender, Gibson or Martin guitars liston on CL because they are usually priced at or above standard market value.  But I am highlighting this Jaguar because if itis mostly all original except for the pickguard and some pots and switches (as the seller says) then it looks like a very good deal.   You'll have to know you're way around a Jaguar to tell if it is the original factory nitro custom black paintjob and if th pickups and hardware are all original - but if so you'll be gettign a very nice deal on a '62 Jag for only $1500 (with the original case and tortoise pickguard as well).

This is an Original 62 Jaguar in Custom Black! This was only produced in 62 as a custom color by special order from Fender. The body has beautiful checking that the pictures do not do justice. It has been very well taken care of and is one of the best 62's I have seen in a long time. The neck is in pristine condition without fretwear, pitting on the rosewood fingerboard and is straight as an arrow which makes for super low action and phenomenal playability! The heel stamp reads Dec 62. Rosewood fretboard, Alder body, original custom nitro paint job. If you check ebay the body and neck alone are worth what I am asking for a complete working original 62! Also included is the original case which itself is worth quite a bit. Some of the pots and electronics have been replaced as they have worn out but some original features are still intact. For the age and and quality of this instrument it is a steal at this price as a new American Jaguar costs well over this. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks!

The pictures do not do this guitar justice!

Also included is the tortise shell pickguard. Motivated to Sell! I have too many old Fender guitars from the 60's and need to thin out the herd.

For sale is a Circa 1959 Kay Speed Demon Electric Guitar. Plays good, has a good sound. Great starter for anyone starting electric. Needs a little bit of cleaning up but that is all. I have had this guitar for almost 20 years and it has been very kind to me but I just haven't had the time to take it down and play it for the last couple of years.

Vintage Kay Guitar K1962 Sunburst – Electric

This Kay guitar was manufactured circa 1960. Please note the “2” in K1962 refers to the number of pickups; not the year the guitar was necessarily made. Physically-speaking, the guitar shows a moderate amount of wear, but nothing unexpected considering the age of it. The neck is straight, and the action is fairly low. This Kay is very easy and comfortable to play. Pick-up selector, 2 volume, 2 tone controls last known to be working properly.

The guitar was originally purchased approximately ten years ago from eBay. Once received, it was tested out, and then put back in the case and has been there since. The guitar comes with a soft, very vintage gig bag. I believe it’s made of leather, but I can’t be 100% sure.

Please bring your own small amp and cable to test out the guitar.

1966 Silvertone 1478 Silhouette in Detroit area for $350

These Silvertone Silhouettes are very nice players.  Chunky fast necks and nice hot pickups.  I played one of these at Fat Dawgs up n Berkeley and they are fairly addictive.  The body shape is very easy to hold and play.  $350 is not cheap but certainly worth it if guitar is a player - that Rik bridge should make it one. - JC

Here's one of 'em. Also known as a Harmony Bobkat in its crappier incarnation. All set-up and ready to go courtesy of Koontz. Thick and meaty Dearmond's , like P90 tone (maybe 11k ?). Shielded, so no nasty hum that these are known for.

Rick bridge so it stays in tune. It's been my Keith Open "G" guitar so that's why only 5 strings.

9 outta 10 condition.

Univox Hi-Flier in Columbus GA for $100

I am not sure if anyone wants a scalloped fretboard on a Hi-Flier but if so here you go.  I don'[t think the scalloping makes much of a difference - unless you want that groovy sitar effect.  LOL.
