Domino Spartan in Seattle area for $200

Great very playable vintage Japanese made Domino Spartan for an excellent price. These are some of my favorite Japanese guitars of the 60's - and of course being from SoCal I love anything with the name Domino on it.

Framus 1960's Star Bass in LA Area for $500

Most Bill Wyman fans know that he played a Framus Star all through the early and mid-60's. His was a red sunburst with two pickups and the "pointer" knobs but this one still looks fairly similar - especially the long thin easy playing neck.

Whittier is between Los Angeles and Orange County (and home to the Richard Nixon Presidential Library - LOL).

I am selling my Vintage Framus star bass. This bass has a very skinny neck and is really fun to play. This bass is model number 5/150 and was made in the 1960's . I am not sure exactly what year it was made but I will include a link to the Framus web site . Feel free to call.

1982 Gibson Challenger in Simi Valley CA for $300

Not a lot of love for these Norlin-era bolt on early-80's guitars in the collector's market but those who've played them know that these are good solid players, A lot of owners replaced the original pickups that came in these with Bartolini's or EMG's (like this one). But of course back in the crazy 80's everyone replaced the stock pickups in their guitars - we just did - admit it, you did too. 'Nuff said.

Arai (Aria) Diamond 1960's Moserite Copy in LA area for $225

Very nice looking Arai (Aria) Moserite Copy. This model is a lot more accurate than the Univox version down to the oversized single coil pickups, angled neck joint and the notched headstock. Aria reissued this themselves a few years back as the DM-380. This color and model is one of the guitars (along with a '65 Jazzmaster) played by Phil the lead guitarist in Big Surf a popular Minneapolis based surf band. I believe this guitar is actually Dark Green not black.

Vintage 60's Arai Diamond guitar.
In the early 1960's the Aria company changed their name temporarily to "Arai" after their founder. In 1966, they changed it back to "Aria"
This is a rare, all original, Japanese made guitar from the 60's. Plays and sounds great! Awesome for a tone that is a little different from everything else out there.

1960's Silvertone Acoustic in Logan Utah for $75

This full sized Silvertone acoustic looks to be in very nice condition. The arrangement of the dot markers on the neck makes me suspect this is a Kay built Silvertone. Should play nicely. I don't know where Logan Utah is but maybe you do.

Silvertone 1484 Twin Twelve VIntage 50 watt tube Head in San Antonio for $280

Nice deal on a 1484 head in San Antonio. The best thing about these heads is how they sound when you turn them ALL THE WAY UP! I used to run mine thorugh a pair of vintage 12's - a Jensen C12R and a Celestion Greenback. PoW!

Powered by two 6L6's and seven 12AX7's. Someone converted the power cord to a 3-prong jack, which is kind of a nice upgrade. The tolex has wear, but Sears didn't make the exterior to last very well. I have never had a problem with it. Pots are clean, all mechanics work beautifully. It cranks and it definitely can give you the deep, heavy sound that these amps are known for.

Fender Jagstang in Austin TX area for $425

Jagstangs were only made for a couple of years so I can only imagine the prices will continue to go up on over time. This one is not perfect but a few dings just adds to the grunge aesthetic. Check it out:

Also willing to trade for a Taylor Big Baby acoustic guitar.

I have a sonic blue fender jagstang for sale. This is the first year of production for these guitars, and this one has a low serial number, and the Designed by Kurt Cobain sticker.. It plays fantastically, and the neck is amazing, and frets are in great shape. Recent set-up and new strings, and also have the tremlo arm that goes with it. Its no where near perfect, with about 4 through the paint nicks, and scratches but nothing that affects playability at all. If you are a Nirvana/Cobain fan this is a must have.

"The Fender Jag-Stang is an electric guitar designed by Kurt Cobain, of the band Nirvana, intended as a hybrid of two Fender electric guitars: the Jaguar and the Mustang. Cobain suggested his idea for an instrument to Fender, resulting in two left-handed prototypes built by former Custom Shop Master Builder Larry L. Brooks, only one of which was even played by Cobain himself."
