I don't know much about this amp-builder but his name pops up here and there on the web. This little Silvertone clone is very similar to an old Champ except as far as I can tell it has a solid state rectifier (I only see two tubes). Cabinet looks like sturdy pine and while it is very basic it is probably as nice as any kit tube amp.

Nearly new B. Alcorn boutique 5 or 10 watt 13" X 13" X 7" modeled on the simple vintage 50's early 60's Silvertone 1301. Quite similar to the 50's version of the Fender Champ type tube amp. 8" speaker. Clear until around 10 o'clock and then crunches nice and bluesy. Never been gigged or out of our smoke and drug free home. Great for practice, jams and small venues. A bluesman's friend and a harp players dream. Nice, light, compact, and easy to pack around at 11 lbs. with a handy dandy handle for hassle-less traveling. Here is an opportunity to get a nearly new boutique tube amp at a fraction of what they run. Guitar in photo #4 is for scale purposes only and isn't for sale. Call 541-***-*** or email via this ad. thanks
