There are hundreds of Harmony and Kay archtops out there for sale but occasionally one really catches my eye. Based on the headstock logo design this one should be circa 1951-56 (and that model number 696-6751 leans toward 1951). It is a lovely looking instrument. Those Kluson Deluxe tuners look original and so does that pickguard which makes this an exceptional find in what should be nice playable shape.

I don't know much about guitars, but thought this looked cool and bought it at a thrift store. It's a vintage Silvertone hollow body in really nice original shape. Everything seems to be in order functionally according to my guitar-playing friends. Aesthetically, the original finish is in remarkable shape with only some small scratches here and there. The clear finish does have some light crackle texture typical of old finishes. The neck is in good shape with some very slight separation from the body and just a few small dings. $175 OBO

I am reposting items here that are listed on CRAIGSLIST throughout the USA. I am not selling any of these items and I cannot facilitate the sale of anything here - so please do not comment or post questions like "Is this still available?" or "I am interested in your guitar please call me, etc." You need to contact the seller directly by calling the phone number listed on the post or by going to the CL listing and emailing them. NEW FEATURE: Click on the title of the CL Listing inside my post to LINK thru to the original Post. If the original CL listing is deleted the item most likely is no longer available. Hi Jim...just out of curiosity how did you determine the age of the guitar based on the model number?

I have one in a tea burst that has an N1 stamped in the inside plus L3534 6687. No fancy logo, but there are lines above and below the Silvertone name. I'm trying to find out any info on this. If you could email me any info (web links, etc.) that'd be great.
