The seller doesn't seem t realize that this is a Les Paul Special - or that the original "Soapbar" pickups that came in this were a better match than what he calls the "pricey EMG" pickups. But this could be brought back to it's original splendor - and you can put back some Lollar or Gibson P90's to make her right.

This is known as the "55" because it is a reissue of the classic 1955 Les Paul. The soap bar pickups have been switched out for the pricey ACTIVE EMG pickups. Also, strap locks have been added...otherwise, it's original. The action is low, it plays easy and fast, sounds great, looks great in any lighting. Check EBAY for a 1978 Les Paul and you'll see what a deal/steal this is at $799. ;) Just contact for more pics. & info nyatph@yahoo.com
