Lafayette 2x12 Tube combo in Burlingame NJ for $80

The seller is not including any tubes with this amp but he says it works fine. If I am correct this amp should use a pair of 6973 power tubes and two 12Ax7 and a 6CA4 and a 6AU6 - these Lafayette amps get mixed reviews - some guys love 'em and others think they are underpowered - I guess it depends on what you want to use it for. These are rebadged Univox amps and they can be hit or miss - I love my little Univox ULM6 but that is just me. If you live in NJ you might want to check this out.

I am selling a 60s Lafayette tube amp. The amp has two inputs, a separate footswitch input, 2 channels (clean and bright), 3 way toggle power switch (on, off, and stand-by), new fuses, 2x12 Jensen Special Design Speakers, Tremolo control, original diagram paper work and visible serial number (33667). The amp doesn't have tubes at the moment. The ones that came with the amp when I bought it are totally fried. the amp has no exterior scratches but does have some stickers which could be easily removed. In terms of sound the clean tone is definitely vintage and really nice the bright tone is a 60s overdrive-ish tone which is pretty sweet as well. The price is semi-negotiable so feel free to bring it up but I feel like $80 for an amp this old in this good of condition is pretty fair even without the tubes. Finally and most importantly YOU MUST PICK THE AMP UP, I have a small car and I'm not into paying for shipping. If you want to see more pictures please email with an inquiry.

Please don't call, contact, bother or harass these sellers long after their post is expired. Take for granted if the listing is over 30 days old that the guitar or amp is LONG GONE! Thank you.
