1929 Martin Acoustic Guitar at Goodwill in Wisconsin - Going Going...

I am far from an expert on Martin Guitars but this appears to be Either a OO-18 or a OO-21 (possibly a New Yorker) from somewhere around 1928-29 which certianly makes it "Golden Age" made during a period most players and collectors consider to be the high point of vintage Martin guitar making.

I have no connection to this guitar sale but I am highlighting it in hopes that Goodwill Industries get the maximum sale price for this highly desireable instrument - sicne theya are a non-profit that does good work and deserves as much financial support as possible.

Good luck.  It is still for sale on their website.  This is a rare opportunity for someone.

Nice looking relic Surf Green Strat with '61 features in Kansas City MO area for $675

I wanted to re-post this CL listing to highlight a terrific guitar relic job by this unnamed professional in Kansas City.  From the looks of this "Strat with 1961 features" he does very nice relic work.   Of course a real or even CS 1961 Strat would have the truss rod adjustment at the body and would only have one string retainer - but aside than those elements this looks like a very nice job on the body and neck.  The aging of the metal parts, especially the tuners and bridge is particularly nice.

Just thought I would highlight him in case he has other guitars or offers custom work at the same reasonable prices we see here.  - JC

Teisco E-100 type fat neck 60's MIJ slide monster in West Covina CA for $120

I've owned several of these entry level 60's Teisco made single pickup guitars - they were all a hoot and fun to play and record based on the nice big fat necks and clean 3K to 4K output  pickups.   These are actually full scale guitars - they just have short bodies - which makes them so easy to wear.  Everybody's got oto have at least one LOL!! - JC

Like TEISCO with sunburst tobacco finish. Super light weight, small body with thicker D style neck. Plays great and has AMAZING TONE.

Has great vintage wear but no damage. Feels just right for the period. Small replacement piece of binding on the neck that fits in well with the look.

Vintage era pickup.

Cash and local pickup only.
