1981 Fender USA Bullet w OHSC in Burbank CA for $375

Here is a great deal on a very playable and collectible USA Fender Bullet.  This is one of the original E series USA guitars and it looks all original.  I spoke to the seller an hour ago and it is still available - great lil deal.

Do not confuse these with Any of the 2nd tier Japanese or Korean Bullets - this was made at Fullerton Plant.

1998 Gibson Les Paul Special P90s? in Nashville for $650

I believe the 1998 Special had P100's not actual P90's but I could be wrong.  Either way this is a decent price on a nice guitar - I have one of these in Burgundy and it is a nice player.  The LP jr. style pickguard makes all the difference in the appearance on these.  Hard to find this particular model now.

Supro Lexington Solid Body Electric in Cleveland, OH for $325

This Lexington is a late model Supro - from about 1967-68 right before the Valco bankruptcy - and these are not as in demand as the earlier models - but I'd be surprised itf this doesn't sound pretty good.  I've always wondered if these were hybrid of US and Japanese parts due to the "Univox" type tailpiece on these.  Maybe someone can tell me?

there was no photo on the posting but I texted the seller and he sent me a pic - looks like the Supro logo ismissing (darn!) but those should be the original Kluson 6-inline tuners.

1967 Epiphone EA14RVT 50 Watt 2x10 Combo in Columbus OH for $200

This amp needs some work but - DON'T THEY ALL??  What's a little popping and hissing between friends, anyway?  We all know that  any decent tube amp tech can fix that.  This is close to the top of the line Epiphone for it's time - 2x10 speakers, ereverb and Vibrato - makes this similar to a 1965 Fender Vibrolux.  These are aso referred to as the FUTURA model - here is the basic rundown:

Year made 1962 - 67;   50Watts,2x10",8 Tube,Preamp 4x6EU7,1x12AU7,Power 2x7591,5AR4 Rectifier,Two Channels,Reverb,Tremolo,Front Control Panel,4 Inputs,4 Knobs,Reverb,One Channel,Tremolo,Gray Covering,Light Grille

Silvertone 1481 small tube combo amp in West Nashville TNfor $125

Here is a lil Silvertone Model 1481 bedroom tube amp that neeeds a cap job - good deal since the cosmetics look very nice.  Thes are just like Fender Champs.  Very similar at least.  This is probably a 1964 or later since it has the "round speaker cutout" instead of the faster cheaper diamond shaped hole.

Check it out:

Silvertone 1423 / Harmony Jupiter in TN for $275

Jupiters are one of the best and most playable of the Harmony electrics (just ask Spencer Davis) and this black one looks pretty cool.  Not uncommon for the output jacks to get torn up due to thej angle on the hollow core body mounting.  To my eye that may be a repro pickguard and maybe new knobs too - but hard to say - pickups look original and the nice bound neck with square inlays should make this one a keeper.

This is a 59-64 (never took it apart to check the date codes) Silvertone 1423, made by and the exact same thing as a Harmony Jupiter. Also known as the H49 Stratotone Jupiter. Pick 'N Grin recently set it up with new strings and adjusted the action and intonation. Has fretware and a little buzz around the second fret, but you won't notice when using an amp. Fairly heavy wear, the input jack at some point got moved to the pickguard and there is a hole in the body and some cranks where it looks like it got yanked out at least 38 years ago. I bought this from my Pastor and he said is was like that when they got it, and that was in the early 70s. No case. 2 volume and 2 tone controls, 3 way pickup selector and a blender knob to blend the 2 pickups together, basicly a balance control. Sounds pretty cool. These things are full hollowbodies even if they don't have F holes. Sounds and plays good, no noise to speak of. Still has the origional DeArmond pickups, looks to be completely origional save for the strings, and again, the relocated input jack. This is a player that plays and sounds good. Search Xysma for my other ads.
