1977 Fender Musicmaster near Memphis TN for $345

I contacted the seller Al - email is pascha_a@bellsouth.net - and this guitar is still available as of today - if you plan on playing it regularly you will appreciate the upgraded tuners - if you are a collector the original late 70's tuners can probably still be found at a decent price.

Nice late 70's Fender Musicmaster guitar. Wine Red. According to the Guitar Dater Project the serial number indicates it was made in 1977-1978. Made in the USA.
A small crack in the finish near the neck and a small ding in the finish at the bottom.
A prior owner did change the tuning keys to Schallers. Notice the back side picture.
Other than that to my knowledge it's all original. I've had it for about 10 years but I've got a 70's Mustang also
and I don't need two.

Fender gig bag included.
E-mail with any questions. I have more pics if you need them.

No trades.

1968 Fender Bronco in Chicago area for $600

This is a legitimate vintage guitar at a decent price. Not a major bargain but worth it if you want something that will hold it's value over time. All the pre 1970 Fenders are going to be going up quite a bit in the next few years. Personally, I like these 24" scale "student model" Fender guitars.

up for sale is my 1968 fender bronco. This guitar is all original, made in the USA in 1968. This guitar shows typical wear for its age, but has absolutely no repairs, cracks, or damage of any kind other than some chipped paint here and there. This guitar was discontinued in the late 70's and is valued as a collectors item. The bronco features a short scale neck, one single coil pick up at the bridge position, and a unique tremolo system, only featured on the fender bronco!!! I do not have the tremolo bar, but this is an easy piece to replace. The action is very low, with no buzzing. I had this guitar set up by Mike Koontz and have not really played it since. This is your chance to own a very rare and beautiful guitar! This sale includes a non original hard shell case and is cash only. Please email me if your interested at Ivanantoniogamboa@yahoo.com
thank you!

81 fender lead I usa made. maple body and neck, heavy. dynamic humbucker gives wide array of tone. also midrange toggle switch is killer. guitar is road worn (the real way, not the pussy factory way which many suckers pay hundreds extra for). this guitar was shredded heavily and must be used to do so again... satan told me so himself. tends to like marshalls, hiwatts, oranges, etc.

email me if interested.... scammers beware - i'll kill your family.

Egmond Guitar in Greensboro SC for $45

I don't know if anybody wants one of these or not... the seller givese very little info. If it is like Harrison's first guitar (that is valued at over $500K) then I guess it has conversation value but it is just a simple little Dutch parlor guitar.

I believe it is from 1950's based on the label on the inside.....made in holland... on the top says MEDALIST.... serial number on back is 22643231...... very similar to the guitar that george harrison had.....great for your collection,, questions ask.. selling it as you see

Nice colelctor's piece here - vintage U-1 in original unmolested shape. These can be nice players as well so I recommend them especially for bright chimey electric slide tones. The seller seems to know the value and worth of this guitar but is still offering it ata reasonable price.

* Late 1950's Silvertone / Danelectro Model U-1 six string guitar with its original case.
* Plays well / straight neck / low action.
* Strong single coil lipstick pickup.
* All of the parts are original.
* Original black finish with the early Dano headstock design.
* There was a small sticker (store sticker?) on the headstock at one time and there are scuffs and scratches to the body.
* A well made guitar that has stood the test of time and should play and sound great for another 50 years!

1963 Kay Truetone Speed Demon in Los Angeles for $450 OBO -

This is my Speed Demon - I am selling this a few other guitars right now. I am into this guitar for aa bit more than the selling price - but I've enjoyed it so it's no big deal. If I get $450 for it I will include a nice Coffin Case that fits like a glove - otherwise I'll ship it in a chipboard case or gigbag - well padded and boxed. I bought this for $400 a few years back and had Fralin rewind two of the pickups which cost me another $155. The Coffin case is worth $90 all by itself. It has a nice setup right now with 10's and sounds sweet - all the electronics work.

This Kay Speed Demon was sold as a Truetone and has the original Kluson Deluxe Tuners with the original plastic buttons. All the elecronics work great - I had Lindy Fralin rewind two of the pickups and they all sound exactly as they should.

I will consider certain trades but only if of equal or greater value.

1961 Hofner Colorama in Los Angeles for $325

This is MY GUITAR and I am selling this along with a few others. It is a very coole vintage axe and you don't see too many of these around. Selling my 1961 HOFNER COLORAMA - very rare, single pickup, red body, funky plastic coated guitar with sweet neck, cream vinyl binding (similar to Airline / Supro/ JB Hutto ) and trapeze tailpiece. This Guitar sounds GREAT!!

These were very popular in England int he early 60's but rarely pop up this side of the pond. I am told this is a humbucking pickup and I believe it because it is very quiet - but the tone is more like a P90 or one of those Airline Jack White pickups to my ears than a regular Humbucker.

Be aware that this guitar is missing a few items - the high E tuner has lost its gear and post - the Tuner itself and knob are all intact - see the photo - it just needs the post and the little open gear; also it needs a rear strap button - it has the front one - and the Volume knob should have a little gold insert - I've seen the knobs on eBay and elsewhere for sale.

Oh and it also includes the ORIGINAL Hofner brownish gold vinyl gig bag - sooo retro cool.

The low asking price reflects a $50 discount to account for the few missing parts - selling the guitar and gig bag together for $325 obo

BNote that this guitar is the exact same vintage as the Hofner 500/1 Viola Bass that Paul McCartney played in the Beatles - they sell for $5K to $7500 or more in good condition if you can find one.

1967 Airline Valco 100 watt Tube head in Oregon for $200

This looks similar to a GVC-9058 but only has 6 knobs so it may be a guitar/bass head - but no matter what it is if it has 4 x 6L6 output tubes it is a monster! The welelr says 50 watts but unless he is wrong about the tubes it would be 100 watts.
it also looks to be very clean - heck the guy has two of them already.

1481 Silvertone amp in excellent condition. 5-7 watts of power into an 8" speaker.
This is an amazing harmonica amp, with simple volume and tone controls.
All tubes are original and test very good, electronics gone through, tube sockets retentioned and cleaned.
One of the inputs was changed to a line out. It works awesome plugging into a larger amp
using the 1481 as a slave amp. Only one mic/guitar input. Also instead of hard wired,
a speaker jack was installed so that you can plug into larger 12" speaker cab.
This amp is louder than you may think. $185, or best offer.
Thanks.

Danelectro DM-25 Piggyback Tube amp in WV near Pittsburg for $250

This amp needs work (blowing fuses) but like the seller says any tech worth his salt should be able to get this up and running pretty fast. Blowing fuses in these old tube amps often means something as simple as a bad resister - often it is the first big one right off the power transformer. I am not diagnosing "I'm just saying..."

I have a non working '65 Danelectro DM-25 for sale. It started blowing fuses which is more then likely a simple fix! I don't have the know how or a place here in morgantown to fix it. It is a very simple design and the schematics are free online. Other then that, it is in nice shape! Original speaker, footswitch and most of the parts and pieces! It does have mostly recent tubes!

Will consider trade for vintage guitars, mexican fender telecaster of equal value or best cash offer!

A little time and a little cash this will be a sweet, sweet amp!!! I have seen this go for upwards of $800 on ebay...It was fantastic before it quit! I have a Silvertone 1484 and Silvertone 1482 that are functioning so this was shelved!

thanks!

Danelectro 63 1457L Reissue Gold w/ Gigbag 1963 RI

This quitar has been in a smoke free home and has never left the home after it arrived.

The guitar that almost every 60's player owned! This is an amazingly cool recreation of the original Silvertone 1457L catalog guitars. Updated hardware and cool retro vibe. The body is made of semi hollow masonite for that trademark Dano tone. The 25 inch scale maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 19 frets and dot inlays. New and improved Dano lipstick pickups deliver the tone of the original vintage units. A hardtail bridge with adjustable saddles and sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a retro gold. The finish and hardware are matte "no gloss" satin look. It really gives the guitar a vintage vibe. A fun retro guitar with tone to spare!

Burns Marquee in NYC for $200 and Lone Star Strat for $280

This seller is offering some nice guitars at reasonable prices - the Burns Marquee is an interesting alternative to a Strat and it has a neat vintage vibe to it. I've added the Stock photo in case you are not familiar with the model.

Lone Star Strats are nice too - they came stock with a real SD Pearly Gates Humbucker at the bridge and Texas Specials in the middle and neck - nice pickups - and Shoreline gold is a cool and unusual color (same as Dick Dale's guitar).

And the Epiphone Firebird VII is a monster blues rock guitar - three Mini Humbuckers and a massive Vibrola tailpiece let you play Johnny Winter wannabe all night long. Just be careful you don't whack the singer with that loooong arse neck.

Burns Marquee $200 - Korean made. Green. Has normal gigging wear and tear. Lost the whammy bar and back plate though.

Epiphone Firebird VII $350- Sunburst. Little nick in the finish on the back. Also, a small part of the nut has chipped off near the low E string. It still works fine though. Its only a cosmetic flaw. One of my favorite guitars.

Fender Lone Star Strat $280 - Shoreline Gold with a black pickguard. I still have the pearl pickguard too if you want it. This guitar has seen a lot of gigging, so there is significant "personality" to it. The only non-cosmetic flaw is a small nick in the wood between the 12th and 13th frets. It'll buzz a little if you bend a string into it, but I've never had a big problem with it.

Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe $250 - UniVibe, Tremolo, and Vibrato in one pedal. Its pretty amazing actually. The paints chipped up, but it works perfectly.

Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler w/ power supply $150 - Paints chipped up, but works perfectly

PLEASE feel free to contact me with any questions or for pics!!
THANKS FOR LOOKING!! 8-)

This is a Japanese reissue of the '69 Mustang. Specs are: Basswood body, Maple neck with 22-fret round, and Rosewood fingerboard. The color is Sonic Blue. I bought this guitar used about 12 years ago, played it for a few years, and its been in its case for the past 7 or 8 years. It plays great, I had it checked by a local guitar dealer the other day. Cosmetically, it has a few chips in the body that I tried to show in the photos. There is one about where your right elbow would be on the front of the body and a similar one on the back side at the same level. There is another small chip near the base of the neck. All were present when I bought the guitar. The body itself has some veining (like miniature cracks) but they too have been there since I bought it and don't appear to be any worse a decade later. The bottom end of the nut where the High E string sits is chipped off as well, but does not impact the string's performance. Also, the High E tuner is bent a bit, but still works fine. Previous owner must have dropped it, I guess. Comes with a black Fender hard case (I do not have the key for the locks). Also, I had the "wammy" bar for this guitar, but can't put my hands on it right now. Please email me with any questions.

1962 TrueTone hollow body electric guitar, archtop/archback in red Gibson-like stain w/ Bigsby-like whammy bar, hummbuckers (not original, but there were no alterations to the guitar's structure and whoa! Big Ole Jet Airliner sound), rosewood fretboard $250 . . . modernist f-holes and a shape a little like a Gibson Trini Lopez. Needs to be set up and a new set of strings put on but plays really well with a straight neck. Overall in very good playable condition, though certainly this is a 40+ year old guitar. TruTone's are not unlike Kay guitars, in fact it could be a Harmony, Kay, or Danelectro . . . like a double cut away Speed Demon ... the f-holes are the same so I think Kay must have made it . . . they were sold out of Western Auto stores.

The price is firm ladies and gents. First come, first served. Call 502.322.6699. I will remove the posting as soon as possible after it's sale

It looks to be from the 70s. It's a Contessa by Hohner.

It measures just under 42" long. The body by itself is 20" long and 16 1/2" across at its widest.

The side measures 4" deep, but keep in might the back has a curve (bowed out) so it is more than 4 inches deep in places.

It is missing one tuneing key knob. It will also need strings. It is in altogether good condition with only minor scratches.

One of the nice Univox 335 copies - these are a bit less common than the other Univox style 335 called the "Effie" - these have the humbuckers - or at least they look like humbuckers - I think I read somewhere that the covers are plastic painted to look like chrome - but that may or may not be true of this one - looks in decent shape.

good shape for being nearly 40 years old. pots are a little scratchy but the guitar works. it's a gibson es-335 copy and even has the open-book style headstock like gibsons. the neck is thin, it's fully hollow, bolt on neck, great sunburst finish. $200 firm, cash, pickup only

1986 Fender MIJ Contemporary Strat in Ohio for $225

These Japanese Contemporary Strats are pretty darn nice if you don't mind the Floyd Rose Tremolo - I had one for several years and I used it to play out quite a bit - it never let me down. The Single coils and Humbucker are actually not super high output so they still have a nice vintage clean tone - and the necks on these are nice and smooth - similar to the 62 RI necks they use alot in Japan. They only have two knobs - one volume and one tone - so be sure to keep that in mind if you are considering replacing the pickguard.

This awesome 1986 MIJ Strat is built for speed and sound. Its called a Contemporary Stratocaster from the Contemporary series 1983-1986. Black w/ black headstock, Floyd Rose type tremolo, locking nut, Humbucker/Single/Single setup. Do your research...Strats made in Japan in the mid '80's exceeded the quality of americans. You will not find a better deal. I am giving up guitar. I suck.

Silvertone 1484 Twin Twelve head in Columbus OH for $300

This 1484 head has been modified but it looks like it might be some really good quality work - I think he may be confused about the Bias and 18 watts - unless it's been converted to a 6V6 head instead of a dual 6L6 - of course that would be easily reversible. The upgrading of the Reverb tank could ba a big plus if it was done well since the normal cardboard tanks in these are a total POS. Nice deal for somebody.

Mid-60's Sears Silvertone 1484 all tube guitar head

I bought this from is an electrical engineer who knew exactly how to make this amp sound its best. It has a real spring reverb tank (stock reverb on these was horrible), new heavy duty transformer and some other mods that I don't totally understand. Also included is a schematic he drew to show exactly what mods were done.
I think he also changed the bias so it's around 18-20 watts- perfect for getting power tube distortion at reasonable volume.
Clean up to about halfway up. Beyond that it goes from smooth overdrive to a beautiful crunchy distortion.
2 channels, comes with footswitch to control tremolo.

Really don't want to sell, but need cash. Looking for $300 firm.
