Fender Silverface Twin in Atlanta for $550

Regardless of whether or not you are concerned about the notorious "master volume" on thee amps - you and I both know that thousands of great guitarists played and recorded with these 1970's Fender Twins and made incredible sounding music. So gimme a break here. I prefer a master volume on amps over 50 watts - otherwise it is all about the boost pedal not the preamp section. this is a real Fender Twin for $550.

Nuff said.

This is a vintage Fender Twin Reverb amplifier (silverface with master reverb) in good condition. Everything works well and the amp sounds great, but the cab is well worn. It won't fall out from under itself but the physical wear is the reason for the low price. All the parts are original (as far as I can tell) except for the tubes. It even has removable casters, and the footswitch for reverb and tremolo. The power tubes are 2 old sylvania's and 2 groove tubes.
I am willing to trade this for a drum set, an acoustic or electric guitar, a bass, or any other music gear worth value (recording gear, mics, other amps, ect).

  1. I wish I was in Atlanta, I'd come over and get it. I'm looking for another silver face twin to modify, so I have a back up... maybe I'll work this out... until then take care.. they are great amps, and you can do any mod to them.
