Noble Magnatone Oahu style amp in Boston for $180



This amp looks just like the little Maggie's that came with their MOTS lap steel guitars in the late 40's and 50's - basically still the old Dickerson-Magnatone amp circuit they sold under several styles and names.

These amplifiers are difficult to date exactly. From the Information I've have found - this was made for Noble by Magnatone between 1947 and 1955. From the speaker codes, it seems to be the original. It is in excellent condition, and great for studio recording, or for practicing with the vintage tone.

Missing top grab handle
Numbers on the speaker indicate original 8" speaker
Imprint design on grill
Upgraded 3 prong plug
Mother of toilet seat finish
