Fender 1960-63 Brownface Concert 2x12 for $150 - DO NOT CALL!

This listing went up today and it was GONE within a couple of hours - but it's just the sort of thing we all look out for so I wanted to list it here. This seller "Andy" listed his "Vintage Fender Concert Amp with Marshall 2x12 Speakers" for $150. Of course if you look carefullly you'll notice it is a Brownface - Wow!  What a nice find for the buyer at that price.

It does happen.

I called Andy and he said:  "Oh yeah, that sold right away."  Gee, I wonder why?

i have a very nice mexican fender stratacaster for $300, a vintage fender concert amp with marshall 2x12 speakers for $150, a vintage 'acoustic' 150b bass amp (that needs some minor repair) for $40, a combo amp cabinet with just a peavy 12in speaker for $35, a vintage ludwig snare drum for $40, a really cool and interesting magnus electric chord organ for $25, and a custom painted metalic green 'strat' type body project guitar for $50. if you are interested in any of this go ahead and give me a call and make me an offer.

  1. How much do the brownfaces usually run?

  2. Condition means alot to value and this one is obviously in rough shape - a players amp for sure. An excellent condition Brownface 2x12 Concert would be in the $1200-$1600 range - but the real value is in the TONE not vintage resale. Brownface Fender amps sound terrific.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL READERS

I am reposting items here that are listed on CRAIGSLIST throughout the USA. I am not selling any of these items and I cannot facilitate the sale of anything here - so please do not comment or post questions like "Is this still available?" or "I am interested in your guitar please call me, etc." You need to contact the seller directly by calling the phone number listed on the post or by going to the CL listing and emailing them. NEW FEATURE: Click on the title of the CL Listing inside my post to LINK thru to the original Post. If the original CL listing is deleted the item most likely is no longer available. Thanks for checking out my blog and GOOD LUCK!

Please don't call, contact, bother or harass these sellers long after their post is expired. Take for granted if the listing is over 30 days old that the guitar or amp is LONG GONE! Thank you.
