This seller is not offering a super cheap deal but this is definitely a RARE and desirable amplifier. You see the smaller Gibson "tweed" amps all the time since they were paired with Lap steels but this larger dual 6V6 model is a lot less common. The big octal preamp tubes on these make all the difference. You will be amazed at the nuance and quality of the pick attack on an amp like this. If you ever see one check it out.
This 1946-47 Gibson BR-6 tube amplifier is a real attic find.
It is completely original, I even believe it has the original tubes. The
carry strap is missing but I figured the new owner could put what they
wanted on the amp for the strap. I plugged in my guitar and MAN what a
sound!!!!!This a very RARE amplifier and to find one that plays and is
all original, is amazing for an almost 70 year old amplifier. I sent
this amp to Western PA's BEST vintage amplifier repair shop and due to
how bust he is, it took over a month to get it back, but he checked it
all out, replace a couple of caps and the input plug and it is ready to
play for another 20-30 years. It is marked as 55 watt output but is
probably more like 8-10 being powered by 5 tubes including twin 6V6
power tubes with 2 preamps as well. Back in the 40's, a 8-10 watt amp
was considered a professional amplifier. Thanks for looking, this is a
great piece of music history and this model of BR-6 was only made for
2-3 years from what that I could find, mainly 1946 and 47. What a great
blues amplifier !!
I have been playing this amp with a semi-hollow guitar and there is
hardly any difference between it and Fender Tweeds that I have owned,
except this amp has an amazing clean sound, but still breaks up at high
output. ALL ORIGINAL - GREAT SOUND. Great amplifier, thanks for
looking!!
These Harmony H-162's from the late 50's and early 60's are my favorite all around vintage budget acoustics. I love the tortoise binding and the necks are just right for my taste. This one seems to have been upgraded enough to make it an xcellent all around day to day player. Check it out.
Vintage 60s harmony H 162 in great shape. Refinished top, neck
reset and bridged doc are recent upgrades. Fret ware is 9 out of 10.
Action is very playable. Intonation is good. Tone is outstanding and
what you would expect from a well aged vintage guitar. Added sustain
thanks to the bridge doc (internal block and dowel under bridge pulls
back of bridge flat w top) keeping string pressure off the guitar belly.
This is one of the best H 162's I have seen in terms of sound and
workmanship. The binding and neck are very attractive. There are plenty
of nicks and dings that don't show on pics but are under new finish for
the most part, what you would expect form a 60's Harmony. Also if
you're interested I can add a LR Baggs m 1 active for an additional
$75... If you buy the guitar.
Solid Spruce top, solid Mahogany back and sides.
I have two other Harmony's (also great boxes w restores) so I am letting this one go. Price is firm at $250.
This seller is offering a terrific Rivera Thirty-Twelve (model R30-112) for $400 in Moorpark CA. I expect this to be a very versatile and all around great sounding amp. These are not all that common but get excellent reviews from most owners. The tube compliment is five 12AX7's and a pair of EL34's. It looks to be in great shape and I emailed the seller and he said it is good to go.
This Rivera amp absolutey rocks! All tube fantastic sounding 2
channel amp that has new tubes and was tuned up recently. Light and
perfect for clubs , thirty watts and one 12" speaker. This amp also
amazing tube reverb! I'm the original owner and have had many
compliments on how the amp sounds from musicians and the audience.

This seller is not exaggerating when he says this may be one of the earliest electric guitar models. The Electromuse company is often noted as being part of the birth of the electric guitar.
Very rare and old guitar in working condition. Original Eye -
Beam pickup, perhaps one of the first electric guitar pickups made.
Early 40's vintage. Needs strings...

Spotted this Gibson J-40 Acoustic at the Guitar Center in Webster TX for only $599. Collectors don't love the 1970's CMI/Norlin era Gibson's but that doesn't mean this can't be a terrific guitar for somebody out there - especially if it's been well cared for over the past 40 years. Worth taking a look for sure.
I stumbled across this posting on the Gear Pag and thought it might interest my readers. I don't know this guitar player but he has work available on iTunes and Amazon and he has access to some incredibly rare and cool guitars - include one that belonged to Duane Eddy!
This link will take you to the original page with lots of pics and links to recordings etc.
