I contacted this seller and this amp is still available. These M15's are some of the best amps that Magnatone ever made. Stereo "True Vibrato" and dual output transformers along with gorgeous Reverb. You can't do much better than this as far as rare and outstanding vintage guitar amps. If the previous (original?) owner really did put an 18 inch speaker in there then this would be a mind-altering jazz guitar amp though it is likely it is just a 15 inch - I doubt you could fit an 18).
They are looking to sell it to a "good home" so please don't try to lowball or scam them. Just contact them if you are actually planning to purchase and use the amp.
I would be buying this amp for myself but I can't think of any delivery service i would trust with one of these amps - they are big and heavy and easily damaged.
I also included a youtube link to a guy playing through an M15 - check out the tone on his version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds - you'd have to use a real Leslie rotating speaker cabinet to get that kind of tone in the studio. Amazing.

This is a vintage Magnatone Guitar Amplifier. We are currently not using and wish to sell it to someone who will appreciate and use it. I believe that my Father modified it with a single 18" speaker before he passed away. Amp is in good working order and practically indestructible. Comes with wheel cart for easy transportation. Price is negotiable, CASH only please.
Looking for a Vintage guitar or amp? Trying to find a fair selling price for your vintage guitar? Just enjoy looking at cool, funky, unusual guitars? Well this is the blog for you. Sano 30WR tube amp in SF Bay Area for $245
Here is another seller offering a Sano vintage tube amp at a way low price.
Don't know much about this model but if it is a Sano it should be well made.
I have heard that sometimes the little 6" speakers would provide the Reverb output - separate from the main 15" speaker. That is how it works on some of the older Guild amps too.
No pic on the listing but I am showing a "stock photo" of a Sano 30WR amp.
Note: Mike's Music, a respected shop in NY is selling a Sano model that looks like it could be the exact same amp on eBay right now with a BIN of $1500! Here is the link to that acution: SANO on eBay

A blast from the past--Sano model 30WR instrument / guitar tube amp, circa 1960. With 15" main woofer and 6" fill speaker, mechanical reverb, phase switch, tremolo, bass, treble, and standby. Embellished with "Colombo and Sons" badge (Sano's dealer) which was in North Beach. Includes cover. Amp section was refurbished and original components remain in place.

Fender 1972 Dual Showman reverb head and Avatar Cabinet on Long Island NY for $600
This seller is offering a nice head and cabinet setup for only $600. The Dual Showman Reverb is one of my favorite Fender heads - basically it is just like a Fender Twin Reverb. The Avatar 2x10 cabinet looks nice too but you could always sell that and use this with some other type of cabinet like a 2 x 12, etc.
Sure it has the Master volume but this is a 100 watt head - if you can't get good classic clean sounds out of this amp then you need to go back to tweaking school.
BTW, I like the way he matched the look of the open back panel on the Avatar to the Dual Showman's rear panel openings - gives it a classy appearance.

Selling a '72 Fender Dual Showman Reverb all tube amplifier. 100 watts, vibrato and reverb all in working condition. Cosmetically it's pretty good for something from '72. Including pictures.
It's tone is really shimmering, and can really get those great classic warm tube sounds for your guitar. It's missing the reverb/ vibrato footswitch but you can usually pick those up for cheap online.
I've also had work done on it in the past to have all the electronics functioning perfectly as I used to gig regularly with this head (i.e., grounded power cord) .I'm not an amp tech, but I don't think it was anything so extensive as to "damper" the "vintage-esque" quality of the sound. I requested that stay in tact when I brought the head in for maintenance.
The cabinet was custom built by Avatar (http://www.avatarspeakers.com/) - great company . It's got a 4 ohm input and 2 x 10" speakers. One is a Celestion and one an Eminence. Honestly, my knowledge of speakers is limited, so I don't remember exactly the specs. We were basically trying to achieve a sound that would emphasize really great clean guitar sounds, but break up nicely as well when needed. It's a great cab, and is in really good condition. I got this a bit later after my touring days, so it never got a lot of wear and tear.
I prefer if buyers would pickup , since shipping all this would be a giant pain.

I have no idea what the seller is asking for this guitar - and I don't even know if these Wildcats sound any good or are decent players. But they are as rare as hens teeth so I couldn't pass up the chance to highlight it.

This is a rare and vintage guitar! I have been searching all over the internet for another one and I cannot find one! This is possibly a One-Of-A-Kind! The price is not arbitrary. It seems in line with boutique collector guitars from the era. Here is a link to an article about the Holman Guitar Manufacturers in Neodasha KS... http://www.wurlitzerguitars.com/files/holmanguitars.pdf She is on the original case and she has some authentic "road use" on her (not painted on like the cheesy guitars in the stores). All of the hardware is original and the pots are in good shape. I play her all the time, but she really doesn't meet my needs any longer.
Please contact me if you want to come see & play this unique ol' lady. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. Sales are final. We can negotiate a litle on the final price. SERIOUS PARTIES ONLY PLEASE. email scammers... BACK OFF!
send me your phone number if you would like to discuss this rare beauty.
These are similar to the Wurlitzer guitars made by Holman - hopefully these are not "stereo" output units as well.

This seller is offering one of the current reissue Maranello's for only $250. That is less than half of the selling price on Musician's Friend and IMO these are one of the coolest looking guitars on the planet. Everyone smiles when they see these.

I HAVE A ITALIA MARANELLO "CLASSIC" GUITAR IN MINT CONDITION. PLAYS AND SOUNDS GREAT. FLAMING METAL FLAKE RED WITH A BEAUTIFULL PEARL WHITE BACK AND HEADSTOCK.
NOT A SCRATCH ON IT. I JUST SET IT UP AND PUT A BRAND NEW SET OF ERNIE BALL .09 STRINGS ON IT. I SHOULD ALSO MENTION THIS IS A GREAT GUITAR FOR SLIDE. THESE GUITARS SELL FOR $580 ON EBAY. I HAVE TWO MANY GUITARS SO THIS ONES GOT TO GO. MY LOSS YOUR GAIN $250 TRADES CONSIDERED.

Maranello combines the flavour of the Sixties with the sound and playability demanded by today's musician. The AlnicoV "Vintage Voiced" Wilkinson Humbuckers mounted in their unique, floating pickguard provide a rich spectrum of tones.
The whole Maranello range are true workhorses-exquisitely styled yet built to survive the heaviest gigging-schedule. If creamy-blues, thick jazz or sizzling rock are among your repertoire then you should check the out. Many top artists already have, including virtuso blues guitarist Chris Rea, who plays a Maranello Classic.
I Neck Action adjustable Bolt on Neck w/Hardrock Maple
Fingerboard 22fret Rosewood
Scale Length 318mm
Body Agathis Tonewood
Pickups Wilkinson WVC Humbuckers w/Tap-coil
Bridges w/Italia Stop-bar
Headmachine Italia Die-casting

Vox 1964-65 Shadow (aka Dominator) Made in England electric in Vegas for $600
You don't see many of these JMI Vox electrics on this side of the pond because they were student models and were designed more for the British market than for the US.
This seller's guitar is clearly a Vox "Shadow." You can see the model name on the headstock right next to the JMI mark. This was the 3 pickup version of the Clubman or Consort. They were usually red because they were copies of Hank Marvin's Red Fender Stratocaster so the Sunburst is a nice switch. Never as popular or widely distributed as Vox's Italian made electric guitars these guitar bodies were made by a local furniture manufacturer in England and the necks, electronics, hardware and assembly were all handled at the JMI plant in Dartford, Kent England.
These are not generally known as great players but they are highly collectible if you are a serious Vox completeist. Check it out:

Harmony Model 200 1950's tube amp in Portland WA area for $275
A thrift store in the Portland area is selling a nice 1950's Harmony Model 200 for only $275. These amps have what I consider to be one of the best tube circuits because they use the 6SN7 and 6SL7 full sized Octal preamp tubes that sound better than any 12AX7 in existence. The pair of 6V6 power tubes and 5y3 rectifier are all you need for perfect vintage tone.
If you are curious about the schematic here is a look at it - Harmony Model 200 tube amp schematic
This is a classic recording amp - and they are great for harp as well.

Vintage Harmony Model 200 Amp - 1950's
It supplies that beautiful, vintage, bluesy, punchy tone for days! Forget it! Tone heaven folks. This is certainly not a gig volume amp unless you are playing very small coffeehouses, but it's certainly an excellent recording amp. It is a darker sounding amp.
