Beautifully reconditioned Kay Jazz II in Toronto for $1500

This seller is offering a vintage Kay Jazz II that's been carefully restored and upgraded to pro level playability.  That is no easy task with these old Kays LOL!

$1500 is not exactly a cheap deal but you will be hard pressed to find a more complete and fully featured Kay than this one. It certainly is nice looking and would be a rare bird to play out with.

I just had to feature it since I have areal soft spot for these old Kays.

Available for sale is one lovely, and not often seen, original vintage (not the reissue), 1963 Kay Jazz II. It has all the cool original features of a top of the line Kay instrument of the period, like the Bigsby trem, 1/2 Kelvinator headstock, Barney Kessel pickguard, Kleenex box pickups, and highly flamed maple top & back. No breaks anywhere. Has a neat, original dealer decal from the era, on the back of the headstock, which reads... Conservatoire De Musique "Honolulu". A lot of love, and dough, went into making this one a serviceable instrument once again. Some restoration from previous tuners, new outer layer of body binding and fresh refret, set-up and it plays great! You can buy a mass- produced, computer made, generic guitar for the same price but this one is so much cooler, and has been brought up to top playing condition. For this type of guitar, that is a bonus, as many collectors don't put the money into them, that is often required to make a professional and serviceable instrument. Sorry but price is FIRM, I'm already taking a good hit on it.
