Univox 1226 Tube Head and Cabinet in Dallas for $350

You'll see pics of these Univox amps on stage with Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page circa 1971-1972. They were hip for a while until Jeff blew his up on stage (like he always did) and he moved on to another amp sponsor. These "Blue" Univox amps still have their fans - and I always thought they looked pretty cool. Check for the original knobs if you find one because the unique style of knobs are almost impossible to replace.

Apparently, the reverb in these is to die for.

Univox U-1226 head with 212 cab. 2 channels can be bridged bassman style. 6L6 based. All tube. Tube driven reverb in tremelo. I paid $600 for it a year ago.I need it gone, so you can have it for $350. Bassman/Plexi sound. No issues. Very clean. Email or text 43zero*********.

  1. I have one of these, and while the reverb is amazing, I think the tremolo is the best I've ever heard. It's a Univibe circuit without the modulation. All around amazing amp.
