Airline Twin 12 Tube amp in a Custom Cabinet in Detroit for $550

This looks like a really nice conversion job on this Airline 9171. This amp has the same basic tube lineup as the Silvertone 1485 and I'd suspect it sounds just as good. The cabinets were always the weak spot on these so a nice heavy duty jointed pine custom build like this is a dream come true.

I doubt the previous owner would have taken the effort and expense to do all this if the amp didn't sound pretty damn awesome.

1970's 2x12 airline all tube combo. ( Montgomery ward sold these amps as a head. the model # GIM9171A ) This amp runs at 2 ohm like a vintage tweed bassman & sounds like a bassman. 5 x 12ax7, 4 x 6l6GC, 1 x 6v6GT. 2 x G12M - 70 watt celestion speakers. 2 channel's with trem & reverb. The cab was custom built about 8 or so years ago with void less plywood & finger joint corners. & it has a Close back design with cooling fan & its on wheels. 550.00 or trade. 586-***-****.
