Carvin Vintage 33 Tube combo amp in Culver City CA for $250

Can't beat the price on this Carvin Vintage 33. This model falls right in between the Vintage 18 and Bel-Air. 30 watts is about perfect for both the home and small club gigs. Think Vox AC30 in terms of volume and clean channel tones but expect it will need a little tweaking (swapping tubes) to improve the overdrive channel. This is a later version since it has both the Presence knob (on back) and effects loop.

Well built and very useable tube amp for minimal cash outlay. It's even got the requisite cigarette burn on the Tweed already!

Carvin Vintage 33 two-channel Tube Amp with effects send/receive, foot pedal and chamber reverb. In the same family (and I think exactly the same except for the wattage) as the Nomad and Bel Air. Everything works. Very loud, but the soak feature allows you to drive up the power in the tubes for home or studio use.

    That is a seriously low price for a great amp! Would have been almost worth the price if it needed a completer re-tube & a new speaker. Typically they go for around $400 in good condition.
