1957 Hofner Senator in Coeur D'Alene ID for $400 w/ SKB Case

Here is a seller offering a deal on a very nice vintage guitar from a respected company manufactured during the "Golden Age" (1955-1965).   A Hofner Senator single pickup electric in nice shape with a few "upgrades" done to improve the modern playability.  It looks to be in nice shape and has the original Hofner pickup which is a big plus.  he also saved the old tuners and the pickguard (which should add to the looks).

These Senators are similar in some ways to the Gibson ES-120T.  Definitely worth taking a look if you like older style hollow body electrics.  These are highly  prized by collectors who know the Hofner Senator and Club 40 models are closely associated with the early Beatles since both John Lennon and George Harrison owned and played them.   John Lennon's 1958 Hofner Senator was sold at a Christie's auction in 2009 for over $300K.

Nice Hofner Senator thin archtop guitar with single pickup. Late 50's early 60's vintage, as near as I can figure I believe its 1957. Good intonation and playability. Pickup and controls re soldered and wired so there is no ground hum common with older electric guitars. Refitted with Grover tuners and tune-a-matic bridge. Came with Gibson tuners which will be included. I have the original pickguard and hardware for such and will include these as well. Hard shell SKB case. Really nice tone both acoustic and amplified. Has dings and scratches for a guitar that's been played and of this vintage. I have too many guitars and I don't play this one much. Would like to sell to someone who would play it.
$400.00
