Versatone (Audio Guild) tube amp in Atlanta for $250

This seller in Atlanta is offering a Versatone by Audio Guild for only $250.  The Audio Guild amps are pretty well known - highly prized by some for the Carol Kay and Jack Casady connections - I think they basically all have the same all tube circuit or a variation on it which includes the Licensed Magnatone "True Vibrato" tube circuit.  A quick glance at the tube layout tells me this may be the same layout as the Panarama amps that had two complete separate output stages one for bass and one for mids and highs.

These were made in the 60's and 70's in the once beautiful Van Nuys California along with some other classic 1960-70's electronic gear such as the Morley Power Wah.

Take a look if you are in the Atlanta area.

for sale is a vintage versatone amp. ive done research on these amps and basically a guy who worked for Magnatone left the company and started his own company and Versatone is it. The amp sounds good and has that warm cheap 60's tube amp tone that reminds me alot of a silvertone amp. All channels work and are clean. The tremolo works but the reverb doesn't, i think it needs the tube replaced. It does have the original Utah speaker. The amp is beat up its missing the silver plate across the top and the handle.
