This Silvertone looks to be a Framus to me from the unique Neck Bolt plate they always used. I called the seller and it had SOLD within 15 minutes of being listed (Gotta love CL, huh). This is a very rare model - all original in good working condition - and he even had the original case. Wow. What a score for somebody.

ReplyDeleteYes, I apologize. I realize now that this is a DANELECTRO / CORAL Bass. The lipstick pickups should have been a giveway but I was thrown by the neck plate. There is a photo of the Coral Silvertone guitar version on VintageSilvertones.com. Rare bass indeed.
ReplyDeleteNice score!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to buy me a Silvertone Coral '65 can you tell me how it sound? Even if maybe it's not the same ..well anyway.
