Vintage Guitar Dealer in Kalamazoo MI - Check it out!

I am posting this in hopes of getting some feedback from readers on this Vintage Guitar Dealer - anybody ever been here?  Is he overpriced and annoying or is he a decent guy who is willing to make a deal?

Always happy to help out a guitar seller if he provides a good service and decent prices to guys (and gals) like us.

Let me know if you can - otherwise I will delete this post so as not to give him any free advertising (LOL!) - JC

  1. I've dealt with Scott the owner for several years. I've bought and sold a handful of guitars there. Great place, cool guy.

  2. Hi Jim. Steve Miller here. I've been following your blog for a year or two and love looking at the deals you find. I happened to be driving through Kalamazoo today and stopped at Tremolos to look at a vintage bass that I saw on the wall from the pictures in your blog. Scott seems to be a great guy. Since it's a consignment shop, Scott doesn't have much flexibility on price adjustments. On the few things I was interested in he gave me a range, but said he'd have to check with the sellers for any deeper cuts. It was a great shop to go through. A couple hundred items on the walls with more that weren't on display.

    1. Steve: Thanks for the update on Tremolos. One first hand account from another guitarist is worth more than a hundred online postings.

BTW - Love your work - esp the soundtrack to my adolescence: "Book of Dreams" LOL!

I appreciate your comments but please no commercial links or non guitar related conversations. Thank you. - JC

IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL READERS

I am reposting items here that are listed on CRAIGSLIST throughout the USA. I am not selling any of these items and I cannot facilitate the sale of anything here - so please do not comment or post questions like "Is this still available?" or "I am interested in your guitar please call me, etc." You need to contact the seller directly by calling the phone number listed on the post or by going to the CL listing and emailing them. NEW FEATURE: Click on the title of the CL Listing inside my post to LINK thru to the original Post. If the original CL listing is deleted the item most likely is no longer available. Thanks for checking out my blog and GOOD LUCK!

Please don't call, contact, bother or harass these sellers long after their post is expired. Take for granted if the listing is over 30 days old that the guitar or amp is LONG GONE! Thank you.
