The hershey bar pickups in these sound nice for slide (isn't that right, Paul). Note that the double pickup version also has a bound neck and vibrato tailpiece.

    I have the Vanguard like the below photo with a single gold foil pickup in the neck position. bound neck and vibrato

    hand splatterpainted by Dale Chihuly 2/14/00
    most cool as well.
