Jack White fan club alert - Kay N3 Hollow Electric in NYC for $350



Jack White will be the first one to tell you that it's not about the guitar as much as the player. That said, tune this 45 year old Kay to open A and plug it into a Silvertone 1485 and you'll most likely get that same howling backwoods tone he uses onstage and in his home studio.

Asking $350 for mint old Kay electric archtop guitar. This guitar plays great. Good sound when not plugged in and also sounds great out of an amp. I suppose this guitar was made in the laste 50s or early 60s. Kay sticker on headstock is smudged.

    Seeing as how it was posted on CL on Dec 10th 2009 I doubt it is still available. Just keep searching for a Kay N-3 or a Kay Hollowbody electric from the 1950's. - Jim C
