Teisco EP-8 Project in San Francisco Area for $60

These Teisco's are easy to work on because you have direct access into the body with the control cover removed.  Unfortunately this one is missing the plate and controls too but hey - it's a project, right?

This old guitar is a 1960's Teisco (Parkay, not the real butter) knock off electric guitar. I am told this guitar was made by Teisco aka Tokyo Electric Instrument and Sound Company. The guitars they produced were of the style of Fender and Gibson. These guitars were imported to the US and sold for much less than the real thing. This guitar needs alot of work. The tune knobs and switches have been removed. I has two pick-ups, and the tail-piece if complete, and the tune knobs are all in tack. The guitar body does appear to be of solid wood, not made of plywood like some were. It measures 16 inches wide at its widest point and is 12 inches wide at the double cutaway , and is 39 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. I am firm on my price of $60 bucks. ph 415 672 0821

  1. I picked up one of these last weekend, though the 8t with the tremolo bar. It was completely intact and all original, for $75. A total steal.
