Note - this little Sound Projects may be similar to the R100 meaning it may use a 50C5 power tube - or it could be a 50L6 - either way it will be low wattage transformerless - unless you get lucky and it is an R400 style with the EL84 also there is no relation between Sound Projects Co. and Valco - the Sound Projects people went on to form Lectrolab which was a very cool amp company and they were in Cicero IL which is a suburb of Chicago - but Valco is a separate co.

Small Valco-made tube amp (Sound Projects) from the 1950s - approx 4-5 watts - completely recapped and brought up to specs by Steve Hunter in Athens. This small amp (approx 11" x 13") is in amazing condition especially since its cabinet is made of pressed cardboard. It has a beautiful tweed-like finish with excellent grill cloth - 8" alnico speaker - great tone! This is a collectible amp at a player's amp price... Priced for quick sale - $150 cash No pics - sorry - call for questions (706) 549-7286
