1970's Ventura Goldtop MIJ semi-hollow 335 style in Tallahassee for $300

Obviously $300 for a Ventura guitar is not a crazy cheap deal but I have to say I have never seen one of these "gold top" ventura's before and it looks pretty darn nice. This would definiely qualify as a "Lawsuit" model -take a look at the headstock, keystone tuners, witch hat knobs, nice mahogany back and neck, ivory binding, etc. they were going all out on this guitar. Of course, it is not a set neck, it is a bolt on. And I can't vouch for those pickups in any way - but this is an unusual find so definitely worth taking a look. Even the case looks pretty darn nice for a 35 year old Japanese import model.

This is one beautiful guitar. It comes with orignal, gold, plush-lined case. As you can see, two of the knobs are missing, but this is no big deal. This was a Made in Japan guitar, and it's solid, beautiful wood. The pick-ups are outstanding - never seen anything like these. Guitar has had set-up done professionally, but you might want to adjust to your playing style. Mother of pearl inlay at the fret markers and on the name on the head stock. $300 gets it. Thanks for your interest. Call 459-5329 to see.
