this is a rare S series amp from Lectrolab in the Minn area - I believe it is an S-600 - the seller has put the chassis into a very nice looking curly Maple (I think) head case - which solves the usual Lectrolab problem of being a "great amp in the cheapest possible box" syndrome.

195x's Lectrolb Tube amp made into custom curly cherry and Ebony accent slant front amp. I had my amp guy go thru it and retubed and put a grounded cord put on it.
I am a custom woodworker that did this for my self but I have an old Traynor that I am going to custom up so this ONE OF A KIND is up for sale.
This amp has 2 EL84 so not to loud to use at home but plenty of punch for a gig. Tremelo works great.
I never took it out of the house.
The third photo is what it looked like when I got it.

It was great talking with you Jim. The old tube amp syndrome is a great habit as you get to hear so many unique tones and sound qualities. I now have your blog in my favorites, keep up the great work on this blog . Jim in MN
