This guy obviously cares about these guitars and this is a nice collectors set. He had Lindy Fralin rewind the pickups and that costs at least $100 each so that makes this a nice package deal. And note that both guitars have the Kay Kelvinator Headstock logo which makes these early to mid 60's and that means pre 1966 Dearmond pickups which have the best tone.

Classic American guitar gear from the early 60's. Includes a Kay Model K6535 archtop acoustic/electric, a Kay Vanguard Model K102 solid body, and a Kay Model K504 tube amp. Everything works. The guitars have a few nicks here and there but are really in amazing shape considering they are over 45 years old. Both guitars have the original cases but the cases were cheap to begin with and are fairly banged up. The amp is a little dirty but there are no tears in grill cloth and it still has most of the hand painted swirls which is very unusual for these guys. The tubes in the amp are not original, the original handle was damaged in shipping and has been replaced, and there is some electrical tape on the cord, but it has beautiful vintage tone. The pickups on the archtop were recently rewound by Lindy Fralin to the original specs. Sold as a set only. Call Rich at 543-3613
