This 60's Silvertone branded Stratotone looks pretty nice to me. Unusual inthat is has the 5 knobs for the two pickups and the lower bout switch insted of the 3 position strat style i've seen on other Stratotones. Maybe the fifth one is a "blend" control? Comes with original HSC too.

This Silvertone was in the family and only owned by one person (an old blues player). It's a definite beauty. All black metal flake paint with a white pick guard. The fretboard has been customized and scalloped down for easier play and a louder more bluesy sound. This guitar is about 48 years old, so while its a definite beauty and a must have for collectors and avid blues players alike, it has accumulated minor wear and tear over the years. -The pick guard has a small piece missing beside the upper volume knob (which is hardly noticeable because it looks as if it should have always been that way) -Three tuning pegs are missing the tiny nuts on the front of the headstock (Which doesnt effect playing at all, and can be purchased for next to nothing) -There are a couple cosmetic scratches on the guitar which add to its Vintage charm -And the strap peg closest to the neck is missing (But in all honesty any guitarist would put some straplocks on anyway to protect this baby from any unplanned falls) -Besides that I believe the S and the I are missing from the headstock, but the letters are still clearly visable. I have not bothered to have these minor flaws fixed, because I feel like fixing those little minor bruises takes away from the charm and personality that the guitar has acquired over the years, and because also I have been afraid of detracting from the value in doing so. This is a great guitar that I dearly love and I am only parting with it because I desperately need money. I am confident who ever buys this guitar can call themselves lucky to have come across this musical treasure. -THIS GUITAR ALSO COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL HARD SHELL CASE!-
