If I didn't already have four dual 6V tube amps I would snatch this one right up - nice Dual 6V ampow two 123AX7 in the pereamp and a phase inverter / tremolo tube and a tube rectifier. that's alot of amp for only $299. And check out that nice Rola 12 inch alnico speaker! BTW - this amp was made by Danelectro in their Neptune NJ shop - check out the center mounted transformer - that's a dead giveaway.

A VERY rare ALL TUBE guitar amp from the 60's. Airline from Montgomery Ward was made by Danelectro and the guitars and amps are highly sought after items. This one is original in every way with the following minor problems. You can see in the pics that the back cover is missing. Very common for guitarists to remove this for more bass. Some one cut the speaker wire to add an extension speaker at some point. I soldered the wires back together and covered the connections with heat-shrink tubing. The front and back of the chassis is slightly pitted but still has all the original silk screening intact. Minor tears in the tolex and a little crack at the upper back corner (see pics). The speaker grill cloth has some staining and is a little loose at the bottom. The model of this amp is 9013a.It has two 6V6 output tubes and two 12ax7 preamp tubes. It also has a rectifier tube and a tube for the Vibrato. Two channels with Volume and Tone controls for each. Two inputs on each channel.Vibrato on both channels with depth and speed controls.Everything works great and tere is very little hum for such an old amp.The original 12 inch speakers is in fine condition (I believe made by Jensen) Currently there is a 9015 which only differs by having 2 x 12 speakers (same tubes and and channels) that is listed for $699 on Ebay. A smaller version Airline amp with an 8inch speaker sold for $179 within the last few days. This amp has that sweet warm distortion that blues players love.Would also make a great harp amp. Please call 951-. Please leave a message if I don't answer.
