MAGGIE LOVERS ALERT - Magnatone bass Amp in Boston for $175 - probably great for guitar


It doesn't have the "True vibrato" circuit but I'd bet dollars to donuts this dual 6L6 Magnatone bass amp with a 5AR4 Rectifier sounds darned good cranked up with a guitar in front.

Vintage Magnatone Bass Amp head (no speaker cabinet) from 1963. All original except for power cord. It has two 12DW7/7247 preamp tubes, two 6L6GC power tubes, and a 5AR4 rectifier. Amplifier section employs 2 separate channels with 2 inputs (high and low gain) -- 2 controls for volume and 2 for tone ~ 1 hum phase switch -- 1 standby switch -- 1 AC line switch ~ 2 jewel pilot lights ~ one does not work. Approx. 55 watts.
